K-3 Read Aloud Handbook Handbook

This multimodal handbook has been designed for primary grade teachers interested in learning how to prevent reading difficulties through interactive read aloud. Information is provided through print, slide, and video. Specific picture books, both fiction and nonfiction, as well as two novels are referenced and full lessons are included.  Some titles include: Jason Chin's Redwoods, Jeanette Winters's The Watcher, Bryan Collier's Uptown, and Steve Jenkin's Actual Size.



There are lessons for 22 books for grades K-3.
