This is a great book that explains a lot of things and answers a lot of questions, especially regarding what I would call one of the greatest events in the history of world religions, but yet is almost totally ignored by most, and that is the catastrophic destruction of the Jewish temple and the city of Jerusalem in the years AD66-70. Somehow most modern biblical interpreters have misread the many references to this event in the Bible, believing that the events being spoken of and pointed to are the so-called "rapture," the thousand-year reign of Christ on earth, and the "2nd coming" of Christ at the end of all things. Dr. Corbett does an excellent job of explaining that in actuality, the majority of these Scriptures point to an event that has already taken place, that is, the destruction of the old Jewish order in AD70.
