Learning to Fly

Walter is a retired widower who spends most of his time drinking and complaining about college students. When he is knocked out by a bright light in the sky, he wakes up with new abilities he doesn’t completely understand.

Franklin is living on the streets after running away from a foster home. When he first observes Walter, he sees that there is more than meets the eye and follows him. What transpires is the heartwarming story of a most unlikely friendship as Franklin helps Walter make sense of his new super powers and Walter helps Franklin learn how to be a responsible adult.
