Anna Liza Barroga Carbonell-Matela currently works as a healthcare professional in Detroit, Michigan. Born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines, her passion for writing especially for writing children's books was inspired by her daughter, Maria Claire Matela. Her, being a former member of the media correspondent through broadcasting in her earlier days paved the way to build her confidence to continue writing and deliver stories from the heart.
