Syllabus. ""Questions relating to alimony and to the maintenance and custody of the children are within the sound discretion of the court and its action with respect to such matters will not be disturbed on appeal unless it clearly appears that such discretion has been abused."" Syllabus point, Nichols v. Nichols, 160 W.Va. 514, 236 S.E.2d 36 (1977). Per Curiam: This is an appeal by Marlin H. Douglas from an order of the Circuit Court of Mercer County which increased the amount of alimony and child support which the appellant was required to pay his former wife, Nancy L. Duglas. The appellant contends that the court's action increasing the alimony and child support was contrary to the law and evidence. We disagree, and we affirm the judgment of the circuit court.
