More Than I Should

Julie Milligan has the perfect life.


She has a dream job as a lawyer, no thanks to the insistence of her over-bearing parents. She works alongside her two best friends at their publicity company, Maven Media. She lives rent free in New York City. She can have any guy she wants — and she does.


Except for Anthony Russo, the one guy she can’t get out of her mind.


Everything about Anthony lit her body — and her heart— on fire. But timing wasn’t in their favor, and the short fling they shared ac couple years ago is better saved as a memory. Especially since they decided to be friends instead.


Lead guitarist for his rising indie rock band Eternal Youths, Anthony was on the brink of having it all: fame, fortune, and women. But when an alcohol-induced car wreck renders him unable to play for the foreseeable future, Anthony is left to face the music of his actions while the band goes on tour. 


Including the one woman he was stupid enough to lose. 


He’d remained friends with Julie in light of their passionate and unforgettable affair. But the constant contact with her only amplified the realization he’d made the biggest mistake of his life. Out of rehab and finding his feet, their friendship finds new ground and Anthony knows his future is incomplete without her by his side. But Julie seems to have moved on, content at keeping their relationship right where it is while she explores New York City and all that it offers.


They need to decide if protecting their hearts is worth letting each other go - or if risking their hearts is worth the love of a lifetime.
