Napa Valley Select Wineries

The Napa Wine Project is researched and maintained by Dave Thompson. He has been a wine enthusiast for many years (first wine made in high school) and in 2006 created this project. He has personally visited each physical winery (if applicable), met with a representative & tasted with 900+ unique commercial Napa wine producers to date (physical and virtual wineries). He is responsible for all research, winery visits & revisits, winery reviews, tasting notes, photography and updates. 


The goal with the Napa Wine Project is to visit, taste with, and promote all wineries, tasting rooms, and commercial wine producers in the Napa Valley in order to create an educational resource for both consumers and trade. 


Dave says, “I have visited & reviewed 927 commercial Napa wine producers to date, physical and virtual, out of more than 1,100 total.”
