Paul has been locked up in chastity for a year and he's sick of it. Jane had told him he would have to earn release, but after doing everything she asked of him, he's still locked. He starts to doubt he will ever be released until she mentions her new boyfriend. When she asks Paul to meet her in a hotel he thinks this is the end of their chastity game. In a way it is, but not quite how he thinks.
