World famous fashion designer Francesca Halliday always has somewhere to be, but when her private jet is forced to make an emergency landing due to an unexpected storm, she becomes stranded in the middle of the Scottish Highlands with the pilot, who is none other than Tristan Hayes, an old flame she never planned to see again.

Tristan is fresh out of his divorce and rattled by the reappearance of his ex-ex-ex-girlfriend, especially considering that he never got closure from their sudden break-up nine years ago.
