One Soldier's Story

From the small town in southern Minnesota where he had grown up, he was sent around the world to place called the Philippines. It was World War 2, and Jacob Wesley Zimmerli was part of the US Army. Specifically, he was a member of the 96th Infantry, a division called The Deadeyes. This is his story of his days in service to his country, from enlistment until he was home again.
