Osaka Jogakuin University

Osaka Jogakuin University is a private Christian women's university located in the center of Osaka, Japan. Originally a mission school founded in 1884, it has developed its education around the ideals that people should be equals and should respect each other's humanity.


This multi-touch book details how Osaka Jogakuin University has incorporated Apple technology into its content-based curriculum, being the first school anywhere to incorporate iPods school-wide in April 2004 and since 2012, having every incoming first-year student purchase an iPad as part of its iPad One to One program. 


The book describes how the school empowers young women "to achieve their dreams and goals, to be leaders in society, and by changing their lives forever." In five chapters, the book presents the school's vision, approach to learning and teaching, environment, and the results it has been achieving.
