This concluding volume of the history of John Paul Jones' life and career picks up with Jones' post-American Revolution service in the French Navy. It includes his Admiralty in the Russian Navy, and the author doesn't neglect Jones' last days in Paris either. The level of detail included in these volumes is well-planned and includes appendices of sailing rosters of Jones' various vessels.
