Raimon Pannikar. Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue

Descripción / Resumen (Inglés):  There are three aspects of fundamental intuition at the core of Panikkarian thinking – or, in other words, cosmotheandric intuition– according to which reality is at the same time the World, God and Man. It is not simply a question of an idea or a concept, but of an understanding that must be lived, a simultaneously intellectual and mystical experience. Man perceives reality sensitively and understands it rationally. This is precisely from where the plurality and diversity of cultures and religions emerge. Therefore, according to Panikkar, reality cannot be reduced to any kind of monism. However, religiosity –rather than religiology and religionism– unites body and soul, ties one person to another, people to the earth, the world and man to mystery. 

The contributions that comprise this volume come from the International Symposium on Raimon Panikkar organized by the Ferrater Mora Chair of Contemporary Thought at the University of Girona (Catalonia, Spain) at the end of May 2015.

Descripción / Resumen (Español / Castellano):  Hay tres aspectos de la intuición fundamental en el núcleo del pensamiento de Pannikar según la cual la realidad es al mismo tiempo el mundo, Dios y el hombre. No se trata simplemente de una idea o un concepto, sino de una comprensión que debe ser vivida, una experiencia simultáneamente intelectual y mística. El hombre percibe la realidad con sensibilidad y la entiende racionalmente. De ahí precisamente surge la pluralidad y diversidad de culturas y religiones. Por lo tanto, según Panikkar, la realidad no se puede reducir a ningún tipo de monismo. Sin embargo, la religiosidad, más que la religiología y el religiosismo, une el cuerpo y el alma, une a una persona con otra, la gente a la tierra, el mundo y el hombre al misterio.

Descripción / Resumen (Catalán):  Hi ha tres aspectes de la intuïció fonamental en el nucli del pensament de Pannikar segons el qual la realitat és alhora el món, Déu i home. No es tracta simplement d'una idea o un concepte, sinó d'una comprensió que cal viure, una experiència simultània intel·lectual i mística. L'home percep de manera sensible la realitat i entén racionalment. Això és precisament d'on sorgeixen la pluralitat i diversitat de cultures i religions. Per tant, segons Panikkar, la realitat no es pot reduir a cap mena de monisme. No obstant això, la religiositat, més que religiós i religiós, uneix cos i ànima, vincula una persona a una altra, la gent cap a la terra, el món i l'home al misteri.
