Beschreibung des Verlags

“The Book Thief” was written by Markus Zusak, an Australian novelist. It was a highly successful book when it was published in 2006 for the first time.

The story of the novel is narrated by Death. The story is set in Nazi Germany. The narrator explains that he was very busy like Germany was busy.

The story describes the relationship between a young girl and her foster parents, and the other people living in the neighborhood, and a Jewish fist-fighter.

The Jewish fist-fighter hides in her home while the Second World War was on the escalation.

“The Book Thief” deals with the power of words. Through the sheer power of words, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party gained power in Germany. They delivered violent speeches, and spread propaganda.
