1967. Keith Richards' country house in deepest West Sussex. The Rolling Stones and their entourage are enjoying a bohemian night in when the constabulary arrive and charge Keith and Mick Jagger with drugs offences. Michael Havers, leading QC and future attorney general, is persuaded to defend

them in court.


In all the furore, Michael's teenage son Nigel, an aspiring actor, is drawn into Marianne Faithfull's seductive world. As the sixties revolution sweeps into the quiet market town of Chichester, the relationship between father and son falls under the spotlight.
