My name is Sarah Braxton, and I'm a witch. It's the height of summer tourist season, the bookshop I run with my mouthy cat, Rhiannon, is finally in the black. I'm prepping for the Wag a Lot Charity Fun Run, I've got good friends, and my boyfriend loves me. Life is good. Or is it?

A strange gargoyle just appeared in the occult section. And it's crying. My witchy senses tell me that gargoyle is only the start of my problems, and unfortunately, my premonitions are always right…
