Somewhere Else to Be

For most people, Thanksgiving is a time of excitement, where people connect with family members they may not have seen for a while. They gather together to share a nice meal, talk a while, and catch up with those they care about.
But for Braden, the holiday has a different connotation.
After a year of quarantine, Braden receives an invitation to attend his family’s Thanksgiving dinner, and after some convincing by his boyfriend Jake, agrees to go. But when his homophobic aunt shows up, he has to wonder whether going was a good idea after all.
