Suffering

The road of sanctified suffering is the true road to health, wealth, and prosperity. The suffering Christian has the promised help of the Spirit. As the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so the consolations of Christ abound. God uses our afflictions for our good and His glory. Ultimately they will be compensated by the "glory which shall be revealed in us." They are used by God to purify us of sin. God is calling us to glorify Him in the fire, knowing that all His works are right.
