Tablets Are Taking Over

It undeniable that the tablet computer has not only permeated corporations, but has quickly become indispensable to them.  147 million tablets are projected to ship to end users in 2012 and enterprises account for nearly half of all of those sales.  Spurred on by the BYOD revolution, 41% of tablets used by businesses were provided by individuals, but those winds are changing with nearly the same percentage of tablets projected to be provided by businesses in 2012.  A Good Technologies survey reveals that the iPad 2 accounted for 96% of all enterprise tablet activations which dovetails with the investment enterprises are planning to make in Apple in 2012; a figure nearing $20 billion.  Tablets are taking over- get ready.
