The Eighth Perets

This is the Joining Cup of the Order of Ezekiel. It represents what we stand for, it depicts what we are up against. It is our duty to protect the people of this world from the great evil of the Perets – the walking corpses of Sheol swarming over the land. The mixture in this goblet is designed to aid us, but the price we pay is in descending to Sheol while we still live and becoming marked by it. In time, each and every one of us succumbs to this mark and is summoned to serve the very Perets we oppose. It is a principle of our Order not to allow this to happen. When the decay becomes too far advanced, the Sentinel must end his life. This Cup, therefore, is death. Drink from it and join our vigil so that others may live without fear.
