The Rise and Fall of A Modern-Day Icarus

Beschreibung des Verlags

Written from a layman’s perspective for the layman who is training seriously for muscle hypertrophy and enlargement, but encountering difficulty. Not meant as a science book. A bold new vision of metabolism to consider and an attempt to consolidate the understanding of metabolism using broad brush strokes from biochemistry, medicine, bodybuilding, and metabolic typing—along with some personal autobiographical experiences and anecdotes. The discussion of metabolism from a layman's perspective has never been clear to the author since he has encountered difficulties with his metabolism (assumed) during the pursuit for more muscle gains and wishes to clarify the subject. If you are a male training seriously to expand his muscle mass, and you have experienced primary “idiopathic” hypertension—and you don’t know why, and want an alternative explanation than what the doctor has probably given you as a reason--here is a reasonable hypothesis for you to consider.
