The Scriptures and the Promises

"We profit from the Word when we perceive to whom the promises belong. They are available only to those who are in Christ. 'For all the promises of God in him [the Lord Jesus] are yea, and in him Amen' (2Co 1:20)."


Pink shows how we are to labor to make God's promises our own, being careful not to appropriate to ourselves those to which we are not entitled. God's promises are our support and stay, and we are to patiently wait for their fulfillment.
