Arthur Christopher Benson was an English prolific writer, published more than seventy books, including poetry, short stories, novels, biographies. He was also co-editor of Queen Victoria’s letters, having created one of the most comprehensive records of her life. Additionally, Benson is remembered for his literary and philosophical essays, and also a series of groundbreaking ghost stories.
