Together at Heart While We're Apart: A Message of Hope

A picture book to help lift children's spirits and cope with changes resulting from social distancing and staying home during a time of quarantine. Friends living apart learn in new ways, stay connected and hopeful, grow in strength and resiliency, and look forward to being together again with friends, cousins, and grandparents. It simply and concisely focuses on dealing with difficult emotions resulting from separation and from missing loved ones, and from what kids may perceive as unknown and scary times. Indirectly about COVID 19, the story and illustrations normalize new ways like staying home, connecting with friends and family remotely, hand washing, wearing masks and gloves, homeschooling, and sharing and caring. It validates kids' feelings and experiences and encourages deep heart connection and positive thinking. And it inspires kids to feel secure and trust that our world will heal and that soon most of us will be well, happy, at peace, and together again.
