Tuggerah Lakes Estuary

Tuggerah Lakes Estuary Habitats and Impacts is an interactive book developed for the community to gain an understanding into what the Tuggerah Lakes Estuary is, the habitats found throughout the estuary and the impacts that harm the estuary. This book is designed to inform local schools, community groups, visitors to the region and the general community about the estuary’s complex and unique habitats that are found throughout the catchment with a focus on how people can help better care for the estuary. The book discusses the many different types of habitats throughout the catchment and the vast array of plants and wildlife species that rely on these important habitats. The book also discusses the types of impacts that the community has on the estuary through everyday activities and offers ways that everyone can help to reduce their impacts.
