Understanding Yemen

The world knows very little about Yemen, but much attention was aroused when the Revolutionary Government (misnamed "Houthi rebels" by most western media) intervened directly in the Red Sea in support of the besieged Palestinian people of Gaza. How could this long suffering people, subject to what had been called the "worst humanitarian crisis" on earth, suddenly, defeat their enemies and then move on to do what no other state was doing, enter directly into a defensive war on behalf of their Palestinian brothers and sisters? The aim of this book is to promote understandings of Ansarallah and Revolutionary Yemen, on the principle that understandings should come before polemics.
