Unorganized Territory

Ellie Sawatzky, from Kenora, Ontario, is a poet, writer, Arts organizer, and nanny. In 2017, she won CV2's Young Buck Poetry Prize, and was awarded runner-up in both the Thomas Morton Memorial Prize and Room's Poetry Contest. She holds an MFA from UBC's Creative Writing Program, and her first poetry chapbook, Rhinocerotic, was launched in 2018 at Verses Festival of Words.
