Publisher Description

This book is intended to cover the basic elements of trigonometry. It is written for pupils aged 13-16 and assumes that the reader has some prior knowledge of triangles and ratios.

This multitouch book is part of a series of resources produced by Initial Teacher Trainee PGCE students from the University of Nottingham, as part of a collaborative project with The de Ferrers Academy. The students were given a week to learn and develop experience in using Apple technology and iBooks Author, supported by a designer, Apple Distinguished Educators and university lecturers. A series of workshops covered skills such as book layout & elements of design, creative use of video & animation apps, designing bespoke widgets and presentation skills.
