The world is changing.  Who now has the strength to stand against the armies of Isengard and Mordor?  To stand against the might of Sau…OK, we’ll stop.  This isn’t really Lord of the Rings.  This author isn’t really Christopher Lee.  However, the world really is changing – and the truth is, the realm of commerce can be just as brutal as a jaunt on the battlefields of Middle-Earth.  Survival of the fittest, sink or swim, adapt or fall – and stop for a moment, because that word “adapt” is important.  In the real world of business, we have no Gandalf to accurately second-guess the future.  For that reason, the key to survival and prosperity is to recognise new business trends as they start to happen, and adapt to them wholly and quickly.
