Leah Marcos is a typical New York teenager faced with the life changing decision of choosing what university to attend.  With the weight of a recent death and the cold neglect from her self-absorbed family, the further the university the better. 


 Vorena College, a small campus hidden deep within the rolling valleys of Northern Oregon, provides at first the perfect escape.   But when a cryptic family secret continues to reveal itself in life threatening ways, Leah must join forces with new friends, uncover her family's past, and prepare to battle to the death for the lives worth fighting for.
