Wewe’s World

The Elephant Queen Stories are inspired by the remarkable wildlife documentary The Elephant Queen, an Apple Original, now available on Apple TV+. Written by the film’s writer-director Mark Deeble, an Emmy® and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker, these books draw young readers into the world of Athena, a majestic elephant matriarch, and her family.


In Wewe’s World, readers meet Wewe, a baby elephant who introduces us to his family, including his grandmother, Athena. We get to know his amazing home—known as the Kingdom—and meet all the incredible animals that live at the waterhole, from Dudu the dung beetle and Kamili the chameleon to Stephen the goose.
