When Events Turn in a Flash

In "A Sharp Turn of Events," it's 2000 and the 20-year-old Jess is street racing in the mountains of California. When the cops show up and she finds out her brakes aren't working.
In "Misplaced," 1937, Rolf and Marie stay at a motel, in the middle of nowhere of Austria. Their robbery went successfully. Rolf wakes up the next day, without his wife, without the stolen diamonds, but with the police arriving.
In "The King Must Rule," the twins prince Frederick and princess Mary lose their sick father in 1549, and the people of England lose their beloved king. Frederick must take his place as king, even though everybody knows he's not suitable as ruler. Mary, however, is a born leader. She helps Frederick as much as she can, until Frederick can't take it anymore.
