My boyfriend, Dan, and I had been dating for a long time. He should be thinking of getting married. But he was making no moves in this direction. I decided to take an assertive stance. I suggested we have a picnic date at the local park. There I asked him some questions he needed to answer. At one point he gave the answer I had been looking for. Then, it was time to eat.
