Each color scheme enhances the beauty of the simple small shell whose basic appearance changes with each variation! Make this afghan in a solid color (not photographed), or work with a main color and then add a contrasting color, or a color sequence, as outlined in either Variation 1, or Variation 2. The Small Shell afghan uses worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size H (5.0 mm); its finished size is approximately 50” x 73”.
