Cloak & Danger

CLASSIFIED: Wanted German Spy. Location Unknown.

CODENAME: GHOST (GEIST)

New Year's Eve, 1949

A ski vacation in Lake Tahoe sounds like the perfect way to ring in the New Year. Unfortunately, the CIA isn't sending Jenny Nicolay and Sawyer Finn to ski.

Freshly recruited into the CIA, the rookie agents are sent undercover to track a German spy who escaped justice after World War II. Known only as the Ghost, the elusive fugitive has traded his wartime allegiances for a lucrative career as a hired killer.

With rival intelligence agencies joining the hunt, the mountain resort is crawling with people who aren't quite what they seem. Jenny is determined to unmask the Ghost, while Sawyer would prefer they survive their first assignment without causing an international incident. A modest goal, considering his partner's talent for attracting trouble.

But when a winter storm leaves them stranded among a lodge full of suspicious guests, their holiday getaway takes a deadly turn. Somewhere in the crowd, a killer is making plans of his own—and midnight is fast approaching.

Can Jenny and Sawyer expose the Ghost before he strikes? Or will their first New Year's Eve as spies be their last?

Ring in 1950 with Jenny and Sawyer as they chase an international assassin from a snowbound Lake Tahoe lodge to the Rose Bowl. Apparently, even the holidays aren't safe from espionage.
