Music-lovers is the celebrated story set in Glasgow just before the year two thousand. The story is told through eyes of the man the Jungle Bar people call the MusicMan. The novel opens in the apartment of the MusicMan and thereafter follows him through the city. Glasgow has changed radically during the nineteen nineties because of the enterprise culture. Brimming with characters this is essentially the story of a young man who tries to write the first musical novel.
