Andrés Sandoval was born in 1973, in Chile. However, he has lived in São Paulo since childhood. He is an artist and illustrator, studied architecture and urbanism at the University of São Paulo. Since 2003, he has developed projects for books, prints and murals. He participated in the Illustration Biennial of Bratislava (Slovakia) and the Book Fair of Montreuil (France). Since 2006, he illustrates the Corner section of the Piauí magazine and has created books with publishers such as Companhia das Letras, Cosac Naify and Planeta Tangerina. He’s produced artwork for numerous companies and brands including Coca-Cola, L’Occitane and The New Yorker.
