RYA Sailability and Powerability (E-SAP)
Syllabus & Logbook
Descripción editorial
This logbook enables you to track your time on the water and record your progress, whether you are sailing a dinghy or keelboat, driving a powerboat or spending time on the water offshore. It is separated into sailing and powerboating sections and has different levels and a certification sign-off process for each discipline.
You can join the scheme at ANY level. Therefore, a person who is very skilful may enter at a medium to high grade and be credited with passing the levels below, provided the minimum number of sessions for the higher grade have been reached. A session is deemed to be no less than 45 minutes and no more than one-and-a-half hours. Sailors can therefore have a number of sessions in any one day/half day.
Physical tasks such as knot-tying can be passed if the sailor can correctly direct another person to do them.
