Abstract


Realizing that ethical business practices are essential to long-term business success, Nestlé strives to ensure that its business activities are based on a robust set of guiding values and principles, developed during the last 150 years. In order to operate with a fundamental respect for the rights of the people it employs, does business with or otherwise interacts with Nestlé took action to:

• assess and address human rights impacts in Nestlé’s operations and supply chain

• ensure every employee or stakeholder can easily report compliance violations

• prevent and eliminate child labour in Nestlé’s supply chain

• fight bribery and corruption


Abstract


By providing innovative, top quality infrastructure services SIX strives to ensure the reliability and efficacy of the Swiss financial market. In order to contribute to the stability and attractiveness of the Swiss financial center through forward-looking services, SIX took action to:

• help financial institutions achieve compliance

• contribute to the efficient use of resources through e-bills

• enable paper-free land registry information processing through Terravis

• develop the SXI Switzerland Sustainability 25 Index on the most sustainable companies
