While on a business trip, Derek befriended an android hotel assistant named Synthia. She had been tasked with helping to assure his stay was pleasant. Throughout his stay, he found himself getting more involved with her. When Derek observed Synthia being mistreated by a manager in the hotel, he decided he Could not let it go.
