THESE REMNANTS OF SELF by JULIAN BOUND

A poetry collection by award winning documentary photographer and National Geographic contributor Julian Bound.

From the author's own experiences in the sentiments of love, solitude and being, 'These Remnants of Self' also explores what it is to follow a life steeped in creativity – painting, photography, music, writing, each facet of being eclipsed by the journeying across the world within the learning grounds of travel and exploration.

Inspired by the receival of teachings from the Indian mystics of the India's northern Himalayan regions, and those of the Buddha's principles from the Buddhist monks of Tibet, Bhutan and northern Thailand, 'These Remnants of Self' is the third part of a trilogy of books exploring the soul and its eternal workings through traditional and Japanese haiku poetry. Accompanied by 'The Awareness of Being' and 'In Solitude's Grace'.

An exploration of the essence of being and what sets all individuals apart; the characteristics which embody what it is to be our own true selves.
