DOLLS DOLLS

Descripción editorial

“When I was young, Mamma dragged me all over the countryside during school holidays, even though I objected strongly. She did this until my present age of twelve years. Mamma had this job with this magazine that printed page after page, after page of dolls and what their owners had to say about them, including selling and trading prized collections. I couldn't figure out who in the world wanted to read about dolls, never finding much use for them myself. That was until I met Doll Woman who changed my perception.”

DOLLS is one of those times when the characters take over the writing. Especially the sassy character of Samantha Stevens from Ohio who never escapes her dead granny’s lessons, not even in Oakville, Alabama with the owner of a mansion, Miss Martha Louise Bracknell. This story comes out of finding a style of humor while addressing the code of behavior through a child’s lens.
