Heart Songs

Have you ever asked why? Why is this happening to you? What did you ever do to deserve whatever it is you are going through? Have you ever thought that you must be the only one feeling this way? Have you ever looked at someone else and think their life seems so picture perfect? That their life is so much better than yours? That they must get everything they want? Have you wondered if someone really loved you for being you? No strings attached? So have I. You are not alone. Neither am I. In the pages of this book, you will find that my life, like yours, is far from perfect though others may see me as someone who has it all together. 


God was always in my life though I did not acknowledge Him. He was always patiently waiting on the sidelines waiting for me to glance His way. Then one day I did. The challenges of life did not stop, yet they seemed easier to bear since I had someone stronger than I to lean on. He softly whispered “I’ve got you. Leave those cares in My hands. I shall protect you and love you for who you are, no strings attached.” I believed Him and am grateful that I did.
