Pot on the Stove is a for-Charity recipe book built by Vancouver Firefighters with the help of celebrity personalities.


Recipe contributors include Steve Nash, Trevor Linden, Michael Bublé, Bif Naked, Sarah McLachlan, Colin James, Wally Buono, Vikram Vij, Rob Feenie, and Jamie Oliver, to name a only a few. Photos of 100 years of firefighter history, celebrity shots taken at firehalls, and stunning visuals of plated dishes abound in this 142 page volume, along with detailed preparation instructions.


This best-selling recipe book was created by the Vancouver Firefighters' Charitable Society, and is unique in that 100% of proceeds are donated to Charity. When you buy this book, you are directly helping others in a very real way! 


Contained in this book are three types of meals: traditional healthy firefighter fare, celebrity favourites, and gourmet dishes created by some of the North America's most renowned Executive Chefs.


Firefighter-donated recipes consist of healthy meals that continue to be served at 20 firehalls throughout Vancouver on a daily basis, while Celebrity-donated recipes consist of some of their favourite meals, often passed down from their parents. Finally, some of North America's finest Executive Chefs have contributed some of their most popular and succulent dishes.
