The Minstrel Boy

The Minstrel Boy is the signature tune of Patrick Aloysious Quincannon, the most decorated firefighter on the New York City Fire Department. Quincannon has made the unprecedented move of transferring from an elite Rescue company to finish out his 40-year career in an Engine company commanded by his friend, Mike Shannon. He becomes the spiritual leader of Engine Company 333 through good and bad times, and through the most demanding summer of the FDNY's 136 year history, as a legend, a character, but above all a firefighter.
