The Perfect Planet

After generations between the stars, eighteen thousand colonists have found their new home.

Ómorfi Katrina offers clean water, fertile soil and forests sweeping down to an unspoilt sea. For Commander Mara Venn, it promises an end to humanity's struggle to find a habitable planet.

Then the men begin to disappear.

Before they vanish, they hear familiar voices. A lost wife. A child. Someone who understands the longing they have never spoken aloud.

The women dream of closed doors and roots tightening around human limbs.

As families fracture and fear divides the settlement, Mara discovers that something beneath the planet's beauty is listening. It can shape the world around their deepest desires, offering comfort no human being could provide.

But when a colonist pursues an impossible reunion, Mara must find a way to recover the missing and protect the living.

Because this world has learned what humanity wants.

It has yet to learn how to let anyone go.
