30 Cantos In Praise of Love

It is said love is the strongest emotion.   It drives us to reach for the stars: to achieve great things on the one hand or to plunge into the depths of despair on the other.   It brings intense highs and intense lows  into the most humble of lives.


Through the medium of these 30 short poems the Writer tells the story of an emotional journey made by two lovers over a period of fifty years.   Emotions played out in the decadent beauty of the city of Venice.   


Who are the lovers, a man and a woman, two men or two women?   The reader must make up their own mind from the few clues available in the text.
