This book is intended to open the eyes of teachers to the possibilities of digital photography in their work, and especially to the potential for student involvement.

While giving some technical advice, this is not a guide to digital photography.  There are numerous other publications which provide more relevant and detailed technical advice.  This book will have succeeded in its purpose if the reader puts it down and starts looking closely at their curricular plans, and asking their librarian for one of those more detailed technical publications.
