In this edition of Australian Trucking Quarterly we check one of the neatest Ford LTL 9000 restorations we’ve seen and take it for a short run around Tasmania’s Meander Valley. Then we check out Kenworth’s two new models, the T360 and T410.   


Scania’s all-wheel drive XT series is one tough piece of machinery, we head to the Tasmania’s Northern Midlands to see how these rugged machines packed with all the high tech you’d expect to find in the international space station. 


While we’re in Tasmania, we dropped into the annual Deloraine truck show, and spotted some nicely restored Mack Superliners along with a great collection rigs all with their shine on. 


In our tech topic section this edition, we look at the do’s and don’ts of Ad Blue, and answer some common questions. 

 

Finally, we look at one of the new PBS A-Double milk tankers that are bringing increased productivity to the milk industry, with the latest BPW steerable axles on their trailers.
