The Ayckbourn Review is a bi-annual publication celebrating the work of the playwright and director Alan Ayckbourn.

It is written by the playwright's Archivist Simon Murgatroyd and each issue explores Alan Ayckbourn's work in a contemporary setting as well as from an archival perspective.

The summer 2012 edition includes new interviews with Alan Ayckbourn regarding Neighbourhood Watch and Absent Friends, an interview with the actor Matthew Cottle, an in-depth exploration of the playwright's first work The Square Cat, an article on Alan Ayckbourn's musicals, a quiz on Ayckbourn actors and other material.
